Talk360 connects more than 6 million people worldwide every year, and we rely on data we can trust. As we have grown, our data foundations have not always kept pace.
We are building a new environment for how Talk360 works with data, and we are looking for a Freelance Analytics Engineer to own the transformation layer at the core of it. You will create clean, tested, documented, business-ready models that everyone across the company can rely on.
What You'll Do
Data modelling and pipelines: Build and maintain scalable, reliable data models that expose high-quality data for analysis and reporting. Where needed, deliver dashboards to drive more self-serve across teams.
Source of truth: Build a dbt Cloud project from a clean slate, from determining the structure through to the testing framework. Turn our agreed KPIs and metric definitions into tested, versioned, documented models that anyone can use. A lot of the definitional groundwork is in place so you can start on solid ground.
Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with teams across the business to understand their requirements, translating them into technical solutions that enable reliable, self-serve data for decision making.
Quality and governance: Set the standards, conventions, and governance that keep the warehouse maintainable as we grow and build the monitoring and alerting that catches data quality issues before they reach the business.
Support data culture: Encourage the use of data to optimise business performance and bring fresh analytical thinking to the table.
